1969 Kitchen


Serious updating needed!


Yellow and black tile...ugh!


It's gleaming white...not pink! New medicine cabinet, reglazed tub and tile, light fixture.


The floors were sanded, screened and polyurethaned...and the wood was continued into the kitchen....


This is the sad looking kitchen in an apartment...


...that needed a makeover...


A warm merlot stain on maple flat panel ...


will turn the ordinary galley layout


into a sophisticated, working kitchen.


with stainless steel appliances


We demolished a lot in this apartment - this was a low wall that divided the dining area from the living area


This shallow closet in the bedroom hallway is awkward.


The bathroom will be completely gutted...except the beautiful 1926 tub will stay and get reglazed..


The bathroom walls are concrete, brick and plaster...and that hole in the wall was the toilet paper holder...


A vintage medicine cabinet and sad light fixture...buh-bye


The entire ceiling was soundproofed using isolation clips and Roxul insulation.


THIS IS THE NEW KITCHEN!


....in all it's stainless steel glory!


The vintage tub was reglazed, new subway tile and carerra and onyx mosaic floor installed.
